Coast Mountain College to suspend classes, shift to new learning model
Classes at all campus locations for Coast Mountain College will be suspended From Wednesday, March 18 to Friday, March 20, as the college looks to implement a new distributed learning model to provide alternatives to face-to-face teaching and learning.
In the latest update to the College's COVID-19 response page on the Coast Mountain College website, officials note that the College has varying methods of instruction delivery and that students should be prepared for a variety of solutions depending on the program and course.
The new distributed learning model will be in effect as of Monday March 23.
The college is also exploring a range of options for their own operations that will promote social distancing for their employees, they are also looking at the impacts of the recent Federal moves on travel and how those may affect the international students enrolled in courses at all campus locations.
