A writ is dropped: A campaign is underway

With the visit to the Governor General on Wednesday, September 11th, the 2019 Federal General Election campaign hit the starting line, as the leaders of Canada's political parties fanned out across the nation to launch the 40 day campaign period leading to October 21st's election day is underway.
