There's a new marine asset available for mariners arriving and departing from PRPA Facilities and other terminals along the waterfront in the region.
With the Gitxaala Nation through Gitxaala Enterprises and Seaspan Marine officially launching their new Ship Escort and Docking Service on the North Coast.
To celebrate the new marine service and partnership the Tugboat Seaspan Harrier was on display and available for tours by curious passersby at the Cow Bay Marina on Thursday.
We outlined the nature of the partnership between Gitxaala Enterprises and Seaspan back in December when the new marine service was announced.
Now that it's in operation, it will not only offer one more option in the marine sector, but also offer up economic benefits and employment for members of the Gitxaala Nation.
A snapshot of the specs for the Seaspan Harrier can be reviewed here.
