Establishing policy towards training of the District of Port Edward's Volunteer Fire Department will be up for review this evening, as the District Councillors receive a report from Interim Chief Administrative Officer Elsie Lemke.
The document which will outline the background towards a minimum standard of training as established by the Office of the Fire Commissioner, with the policy initiative under consideration one which proposes an Exterior Operations Service Level related to the resources available at the scene.

As noted Port Edward Volunteer Fire Chief Jason Giesbrecht will be available at this evening's Council session to respond to any questions that the District's council members may have towards the policy.
