City on the hunt for a new vehicle for Victim Supports program at the RCMP detachment

Some new wheels may be in the future for one of the city operated programs through the RCMP detachment on Sixth Avenue West.

A Request for Proposals put forward by the City of Prince Rupert this week is seeking out to purchase a vehicle for the Victim Services Program at the detachment.

The Bid request on the BC Bid site notes of the scope of what the city is hoping to gain from their call.

The focus put on  the supply and delivery of one new vehicle, the provision of a training and support plan and warranty and servicing plans.

The Bid Request closes at 2 PM on January 31st, the timeline towards consideration of bids and potential purchase is outlined below:

The RFP for Victim Services, is the second vehicle request of the year, earlier this month, the City put out a call for Bids towards a new truck for the city operations fleet
