The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control appears to have put their data collection program back on track. Releasing their latest weekly totals this afternoon, providing updates for the total number of cases in each community of the Northwest as of the week of January 10-16.
With a week of recent reports of COVID cases in Prince Rupert, the weekly total for the period was listed at 7.
The additional cases from that period as of January 16th brings the total number of cases of COVID-19 for this area to 27 from the start of the pandemic in January of 2020.
The data review of today however, does not appear to include the outbreak announced yesterday from Acropolis Manor, which will make for the report to come out next week.
The BC Centre for Disease shares data on a weekly basis culled from Local Health Authority reports and in the most recent reporting period the regional hot spot is Terrace with 69 reported cases during the data collection period, other areas of concern include the Bella Coola Valley, Smithers and Burns Lake region.
Across the remainder of the Northwest, the cases reported from January 10-16 were as follows.

The Central Coast had no cases of COVID reported in the period.
