SD52 adds to the list of potential COVID exposures at Schools in Prince Rupert

School District 52 has updated its listings of potential exposures to schools in Prince Rupert, with the latest advisory posted to the SD52 website having identified Conrad School and Prince Rupert Middle School as now confirmed potential exposure locations as part of their original notice related to Lax Keen school.

We have been advised of a potential exposure in the School District to students and staff of Lax Kxeen Elementary School in attendance January 7, 8 or 12, 2021; Conrad Elementary School in attendance January 11-13, 2021 and Prince Rupert Middle School in attendance January 8, 2021.

Northern Health has informed the principals of Lax Kxeen, Conrad and Prince Rupert Middle School that students and staff may have been in contact with lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The original relay of information from SD52 can be reviewed from our post of Monday morning.

The two latest exposure notices have now been added to the Northern Health/BC CDC data base.

In a new update for parents and guardians, SD52 has listed all four exposure notices in effect at the moment.
