Season of Liquor Licence Amendment requests continues in Prince Rupert

Prince Rupert's establishments of dining and imbibing continue to make the trip to City Hall to seek referrals for their plans to amend their Liquor Licences, with the Sunset Lounge and Grill at 243 Third Avenue West the latest to file its paper work with the City of Prince Rupert.

Their request is one to seek proposed hours of Operation from 9AM to 1 AM Sunday through Saturday.

As part of the process, the City is inviting comment from the public towards their application.

To do so, residents can submit their comment in writing to Corporate Administrator Rosa Miller on or before 4 PM on Monday, May 8th.

City Council members will consider the comments and the application as part of their work at the Regular Council Meeting on May 8th at 7PM.

Should you like more information or wish to view the application you can drop into City Hall from 9:30 to 4:30. (or review the notice here)

The Sunset Lounge and Grill makes for the fourth application that has been received by the City in recent weeks.

The period of comment for the First for the Wheelhouse Brewing Company came to an end in March

There is still an ongoing comment period in place for requests by Arabisk Restaurant/Neighbourhood Pub at Seal Cove and the Port City Spirits facility on Fraser Street.

More notes on civic themes can be reviewed from our archive page here.
