City of Prince Rupert to work towards solutions for "period poverty" in community through May

The City of Prince Rupert has designated the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre
as the drop off point of menstrual production donations as part of the
City's commitment to the Period Promise initiative

The City of Prince Rupert has joined up with the United Way of Northern BC to take on the cause of eliminiating Period Poverty, collecting menstrual products for redistribution in the community.

The City has identified the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre at the Recreation Complex as the drop off site for those in the community wishing to lend a hand to the campaign.

Through their Social  Media page, they provided more details on the project, as well as to note who else in the community has taken on the initiative this month.
