The opportunity for eligible property owners to apply for the City's Permissive Property Tax Exemption process is now open, with the City of Prince Rupert setting the close of Business on July 15th as the deadline.

The current policy on Permissive Property Tax Exemption was put in place in June of 2019, the focus largely on properties related to spiritual, social and cultural. organizations in the community which have land that would qualify.

The most recent listing of the City of Prince Rupert Permissive Tax Exemptions was included as part of the 2023 City Budget Documentations, its found on page 87 of the City's Financial plan.
