Port Edward to move forward on Rezoning of Waterfront land at October 24th session

An application from a Port Edward fishing company, Coldish Seafood Company to rezone three of their properties from Commercial to Waterfront General Industrial will be on the Agenda for adoption at the October 24th  District of Port Edward Council session.

The Port Edward Council membership provided for the first three readings to the required Bylaw at their October 10th Session.

As part of the process, property owners who are within 60 metres of the proposed rezoning area will be notified.

The District of Port Edward will not be hosting a Public Hearing towards the topic,  District officials  issued the notice  of Waiver for the Zoning Amendment last Wednesday.

More notes from the District can be reviewed through our archive page here.
