With all of their preliminary work complete, officialswith KSI Lisims LNG announced last week that they will be moving into the Environmental Review stage of their proposed LNG terminal at Wil Milit on the northern end of Pearse Island, with KSI Lisimis making application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate.
Once operational, the KSI Lisims facility will produce 12 million tonnes of LNG per year, with Nisga'a officials noting of the thousands of direct and indirect jobs that they anticipate the project will bring as well as the financial benefits the project will bring to the Nisga'a Nation.

KSI Lisims recently wrapped up their travelling Open House program which outlined the project to Nisga'a members in the Nass Valley, Terrace and Prince Rupert.
