The City of Prince Rupert has put in place a BOIL WATER NOTICE, that following an overnight period of multiple waterline breaks on the city's east side.
As we outlined last night, the Water woes began with a water main break at the Montreal Circle Reservoir, with water issues spreading out from there in various locations on the east side of the City.
As a result, Northern Health has directed the City to put in place the BOIL WATER NOTICE due to impacts on water quality.
The Notice was posted to the City's Website this morning

The Advisory was also relayed through the City's Mobile App program, though as of yet has not been posted to their Social Media accounts.
