City of Prince Rupert prepares for annual Tax Sale, date set for September 26


Eleven properties are on the 2022 list for the annual Tax Sale, with property owners having  until September 26th to take care of their tax arrears plus interest to have the listings taken off the auction block.

The properties which are scattered across the city range in what is called the upset price from a low of $4,696.47 for a residential property on 7th avenue West, to $74,971.43 for a property on Metlakatla Road in the Industrial park.

The Tax Sale will take place on Monday, September 26th at 10 AM in the Prince Rupert City Council Chamber.

Properties will be removed from the Tax Sale list as any tax arrears are taken care of in the lead up to the 26th
