Easy access to many wellness items is available through the vending machine at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital |
The newest initiative towards Wellness care in the Prince Rupert region stands ready to serve just outside of the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital, with a fully stocked vending machine at the Hospital entrance ready to distribute a range of items for those seeking them out.
The program has been in place since June when Northern Health and MLA Jennifer Rice introduced the vending option to the community.
This week, Northern Health offered up a bit of an update/refresher on how the program works in the community.
Through their Prince Rupert focused Social Media stream, the Health Authority highlights the items available and how those using the machine can access the tokens required towards selecting that which they need.
The Health Authority has as of yet, not provided any updates towards how much the vending machines have been used since the installation at the PRRH in June.
Should you need more information towards the program contact Northern Health at 250-622-6380
