British Columbia's MLA's brought the Fall session to a close this week, the final few days included some marathon sessions late into the night to move forward on the NDP government's aggressive housing and other legislation.
The work for the fall came to an end on Thursday, with a visit to the Legislature by the Lieutenant Governor who then sent them on their way back to their constituencies for the holidays and beyond until the next call of the House sometime in 2024.
As the fall session wrapped up, the Government used the opportunity to chart some its progress on this housing plans for the year ahead.
BC Ferries was in the news this week as well,wrapping up one consultation period and starting up a new one, the latter related to onboard amenities on food service.
For the final week there were only a few mentions for the three MLA's serving the Northwest, Me. Ross the busiest of the trio.

On the week, Ms Rice was mentioned once for the week in the Legislature from November 27-30, 2023.
Her contribution to the Chamber came on Monday when she raised awareness of the 16 days of activism against Gender Based Violence
The week wrapped up for MLA Rice on Friday, as she co-hosted a social event at her constituency office with Member of Parliament Taylor Bachrach.
The North Coast MLA is also a member of the Following committees:
The MLA Is also Deputy Chair of the Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts
Ms. Rice serves as the Government's Parliamentary Secretary for Rural health.
The North Coast MLA also addressed a range of themes and relayed a number of government announcements through her Social Media Stream.

For our readers from the Terrace-Kitimat region, Skeena MLA Ellis Ross was mentioned three times in the record for the week in the Legislature from November 27-30, 2023.
His first appearance was Tuesday morning when he spoke of lost opportunities from LNG development and noted of an alternative energy project for Prince Rupert's Trigon
Mr. Ross returned to the theme of LNG and to what he called the provincial government's disregard for the industry and how it could have brought benefits to First Nations communities, (speaking to the topic at the 10:51 AM mark of the Tuesday morning Question Period session)
The MLA also provided introductions in the Legislature on Tuesday evening, wise politician that he is, he noted for the Chamber that his wife Tracey was watching from the Gallery (see video at 20:11 PM of the Session)
Mr. Ross serves as the BC United critic on LNG and Energy
The Skeena MLA has not been named to any of the Standing Committees for this session.
The Skeena MLA also addressed a range of themes featured as part of the MLA's social media work.

For our readers from the Bulkley Valley area, Stikine MLA Nathan Cullen was mentioned once in the record for the week in the Legislature from November 27-30, 2023.
In his post as Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship he responded to questions during the Monday afternoon Question Period
The Stikine MLA is not currently assigned to any Parliamentary Committees.
Mr. Cullen serves as the Government's Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship.
