North Coast Regional District looks to upgrade machinery at Kaien Road Centre

North Coast Regional District is looking to spend some money on equipment towards the Kaien Road Recycling Centre in Prince Rupert, with a call for Proposals for Tie Baler with Bed conveyor for the facility.

The call for proposals has been posted to the BC Bid website, with the scope of materials to be handled by the machine rather extensive.

Among the documentation towards the Bid, is the note that  the selected supplier will be requested to provide services prior to shipping of any equipment as well as to supervise the installation of it at the Kaien Road facility.

The successful bidder will also be expected to provide operator training for NCRD employees.

The Regional District Treasurer is handling the equipment bid file, with the Deadline for submissions of interest towards the supply and installation of the machinery set 4 PM December 21.
