One week on the job and the newly elected Prince Rupert City Council will apparently settle in for some work this afternoon.
The City's administration office making note on Friday of a Special Regular Council session to take place this evening starting at 5PM.
No details towards the purpose of the Special Session were included in the notification which you can review here, there is also no Agenda posted to the city website to outline what's on the to do list for this evenings get together.
Last week's debut session for the recently elected council membership was one of ceremony, with the membership taking their oaths of office and then delivering a few comments as part of the gathering which lasted less than twenty minutes.
Update: On Monday morning, City Hall expanded on the scope of this evening's session.
