Coast Tsimshian Enterprises plans for landfill site on shelf following BC Government decision

The proposed site of the organic soil and till landfill site was to
be on the east side of Highway 16 at the Ridley Island Access Road
(From BC Gov't Records)

The plan to develop an organic soil and till landfill site just off of Highway 16 at the Ridley Island Access Road will seemingly be put on a shelf for now.

That following a decision by the BC Governments Lands Office that did not approve of the plan put forward by Coast Tsimshian Enterprises Limited.

The Decision from late September noted that the decision came following deadlines were not met related to additional information that was required towards the proposal.

When they had applied in May of 2020, Coast Tsimshian Enterprises Limited had outlined how their proposed landfill site would be used to accept material from the many proposed development projects that were on the horizon for the Prince Rupert/Port Edward area at the time.
