Kaien Trails seeks a bit more feedback towards Cloudberry Trail development planning

The members of the Kaien Trail Enhancement and Recreation Society have reviewed the findings from a survey from late October,  a short list of questions which delivered feedback that supports a phased approach to the development of the Cloudberry Trail.

The Cloudberry Trail is the next priority for the local group and an initiative which was recently awarded  500,000 dollars in funding towards development.

It would see a multi use pathway put in place and upon full completion would connect the Prince Rupert Civic Centre with the Tall Trees Trail Head.

Towards their planning, Kaien Trails is now hosting a follow up survey to try to determine what kind of use the first phase of the Cloudberry project might see,

You can take the survey here to help them out in their development planning.

The survey is fairly short with only five questions to help with their work.

As they note in their survey introduction, the first phase which could get under way in early 2023, would link the Civic Centre to an area not far from the BC Hydro site on the Highway at Prince George Street.

The Society released a Master Plan of potential trails for the community back in March of 2017, which provides a glimpse of what the Trail system may look like as they move forward with their range of development plans.

You can learn more about the work of Kaien Trails in the community through their Social Media page.
