District of Port Edward looks to make changes to procedure bylaw

The next Council session for the District of Port Edward will feature the introduction of  a new Council Procedural Bylaw, with the Council members looking to allow for hybrid electronic meetings.

A Public Notice for residents released this week also notes that some other updates to the old bylaw will be included in the new document, those are to be introduced  as part of the November 22nd Regular Council Session.

Those looking to do a bit of research on the topic prior to the November 22nd session will have to get in contact with the District Office for some research material.

The old bylaw is not listed among the District's most requested Bylaws, but they do note that if you were to drop them a note, the staff would be happy to send you a copy.

You can contact them through any of the resources listed here.

More notes from the District can be reviewed through our archive page.
