City of Prince Rupert sets July 15th as closing date for applications for Permissive Property Tax Exemptions for 2022


While you prepare to make your trip to City Hall this month in time for the annual payment on property taxes by the July 4th deadline, the City has announced the deadline date for applications for those who qualify for the Permissive Property Tax Exemption program

The City advising that the intake period for applications for 2022 Permissive Property Tax Exemptions has been set for July 15th.

The advisory was posted to the City of Prince Rupert website on Monday.


The current policy on Permissive Property Tax Exemption was put in place in June of 2019 its focus is on spiritual, educational, social and cultural organizations in the community which have land that would qualify.
