BC Government 2023 Budget consultation process underway, with online submission period available to June 24



An opportunity to have your say in how the BC Government spends your money is now entering into the public consultation process, with residents of the province now able to provide written comments or filling our an online survey through the Consultation portal.

The online survey features five questions for you to answer the topics covering a range of themes.

Among them, a question what actions you believe the province should take to support people facing challenges from the rising cost of living.

The province is also seeking guidance on what you think the government should do to improve you and your family's quality of life.

The theme of climate change and whether you would like to see more funding for that as part of the budget makes for part of the government narrative.

British Columbians are also provided with a check list of sorts to note where they believe e more funding should be directed.



The final question of the five asks residents as to how much importance a balanced budget has to them.

The deadline for both of those options comes up on Friday June 24th and you can learn more about them here.

The deadline for in person presentations to the Budget Committee during its upcoming tour closed in the weeks previous,  with the Finance Committee creating a waitlist towards that initiative.

The schedule for those presentation sessions has yet to be released
