Final School District 52 meeting for the current school year set for tonight at 7PM

The final SD52 Board meeting for the 2021-22 School year goes tonight, the meeting which has a 7PM start takes place one day earlier than its previous scheduled date owing to tomorrows day long observance of National Aboriginal Day.

The final session before the summer break comes following the Budget meeting deliberations of earlier this month, which saw the Board of Education make a number of cuts to a variety of their budget elements to reach balance for 2021-22.

Tonight's session could also offer up some hints as to whether any more trustees have decided to step down from their duties as we get closer to the October election period.

At previous Board of Education meetings both Trustee Tina Last and Trustee Bart Kuntz announced that this would be their last term as trustees with the SD52 Board of Education.

As has been the case all year, tonight's session is a Zoom event, to secure your invitation and link to the session contact Tamara Dickens for further information.
