Kaien Trails has released the 411 on what's happening at the Prince Rupert Civic Centre and along Highway 16 eastbound |
Some extensive yard work in front of the Civic Centre complex has captured the imagination of residents for a few weeks, with any number of ideas as to what was up for the front of the Recreation facility.
As we noted on Monday, the work is related to Kaien Trails plans for development of the much anticipated first phase of the Cloudberry Trail.
Yesterday, the local trail organization provided some notes and a slideshow towards what's coming to expand on our recreation spaces in the community.
The information campaign through the Kaien Trails Facebook page notes of the scope of the work ahead and introduces us to the way that Multi use pathway will work.
The Q and A format also expands on the relationship between the City of Prince Rupert and Kaien Trails, as well as to explain why they are leading the work ahead on the pathway project.
Kaien Trails also updates the timeline towards the work now underway at the Civic Centre and along the Highway 16 corridor to the former BC Hydro site at Portage Avenue.
Keep up to date on their progress on the trail and for other plans to come through their Social Media Stream.
More notes on the trail building ambitions for the region can be reviewed through our archive page.
