Vohora LLP with offices in Prince Rupert has secured the contract for auditor services with the City of Prince Rupert |
The short list came down to three and when the review was complete, the accounting firm with local offices came out of the competition with the contract for civic auditor services until 2026.
Vohora LLP CPA's and Business Advisers were named as the successful bidders at Monday's Prince Rupert City Council session, with a report from Chief Financial Officer Corinne Bomben providing for the details as to how their bid request came to the top of the list.
The Contract bid process was launched in June of this year, and the local firm with offices on First Avenue East sharpened their pencils to provide for the best financial option for the city to consider. That combination of local availability and cost effectiveness towards the contract was highlighted by the Mayor following the contract award. The remainder of Council had no comment towards the decision.
