The much anticipated start for Kaien Trails next big project got underway this week, as the local group dedicated to recreational trail making launched work on the Cloudberry Trail.
The first phase of the trail which eventually will stretch out to the Tall Trees Trail on Highway 16 adjacent to the Butze Rapids trail location, will see the new recreation space stretch from the Civic Centre to the BC Hydro site at Portage Avenue as the focus for trail builders.
The local group shared word of their project launch through their Social media stream on Friday.
No timeline towards a completion date was provided as part of the Friday announcement.
