Progress for two large scale City projects comes to be on the agenda for tonight's City Council session, with the city's Operations Director Richard Pucci to present a report to Council that serves Notification of Transition for work on. the CN Station Project and that of the RCMP Detachment.
The report available from tonight's Agenda package for Council, notes of the recently approved new Master Service Agreement with CT Northern Contractors Alliance Limited Partnership, with the two projects to be transitioned to that agreement.

Other than the observation towards how the Master Service Agreement will provide for continued surety on rates and contractor availability. There's little to read from the report as to how the transition process works and how it impacts on the development of the twin projects.
Areas of interest, such as who has overall oversight on the project and who is accountable to the city towards the project are a few areas where the Council members may wish to explore further on behalf of the public.
That way to provide for a more fulsome overview of how the MSA plan will deliver the results the city would seem to wish to have for the two high profile projects.
