Lax Kw'alaams update of end of December charts COVID course ahead for much of January

The scope of current COVID measures for Lax Kw'alaams
was outlined just prior to New Years

Unless things change significantly over the next few days, some guidance for residents of Lax Kw'alaams issued just prior to New Year's Eve will continue to make for the blue print of COVID response for the Band Council for the start of 2022.

The message to the community from December 30th noted of the current (to that point) situation in the community and reminds of the protocols in place related to COVID measures.

As well, the message to Community members provided for a reminder that as of January 15th anyone employed by the Band must be double vaccinated and if they are not, they re required to take a leave of absence without pay.

Any updates towards those themes will be delivered by the Band Council through their website and social media feed.
