The matchmaking is now underway, as a collective of organizations in Prince Rupert launch Make Prince Rupert Home, an online marketing campaign now in motion to recruit workers and residents to the North Coast.
The Labour Recruitment Program features the participation of the City of Prince Rupert, Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest and the Port of Prince Rupert along with its parters at DP World, Ridley Terminals and RayMont Logistics.
They have all come together to create the one stop resource that provides a snapshot of the community as well as links to learn much, much more about work and life on the North Coast
We previewed the campaign earlier this month, and today the first of the online marketing teaser adds begin to work their way across Social media, providing a snapshot of the community and a link to get more information on what's available.
The Social media campaign through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn delivers those looking to explore further to the Make Prince Rupert Home website, where the real recruitment begins.
The video segment of the campaign has been created by Vancouver based St. Bernadine, which has been the group behind past marketing projects for the Prince Rupert Port Authority.
The list of videos to accompany the Make Prince Rupert Home theme feature vignettes of local residents showcasing what they enjoy about the community, as well as to reprise the Hockey Day In Canada feature broadcast by Rogers Sportsnet two years ago.
You can view those features here.
Once having some interest tweaked, the reader/viewer can explore a range of categories to learn more about what their new could-be hometown has to offer.
The tour takes them through such themes as Community, Experiences, Real Estate options, Work opportunities, Entrepreneurs and much, much more.
To help our future neighbours and co-workers learn more about Prince Rupert, the project even features a Frequently Asked Questions section, helping to provide answers and maybe answer previous themes of national attention ...
Though some such as the travel options could perhaps come with an * asterisk to note changing landscapes in place at the moment.
You can follow your compass to where you are and take the tour yourself starting here.
Learn more through their range of entry points listed below and follow their efforts over the next three months.
That as the recruitment plans move forward through the marketing run from today through to May 8th.
