Prince Rupert's School District 52 is looking for someone to conduct their annual auditing services, with the District posting their request for Proposals to the BC Bid website last week.
The auditing services will cover a five year fiscal period from July 1, 2020 through to June 30, 2025. Each audit must be completed by August 31st of each year.
Beyond the normal duties of an auditing service, the School District outlines some additional work required as part of the contract, they include:
An audit of two selected schools each year in accordance with the Internal Audit Program for School Trust Accounts.
The auditors may be required to provide, on a fee for service basis, recommendations to School District Management in the areas of accounting and payroll.
