Prince Rupert City Council members should make quick work of one item on their 'consent agenda' tonight, that a call for a correspondence of support from Northern Health towards their DementiAbility program at Acropolis Manor.

The Health Authority is pursuing a grant opportunity through the Prince Rupert Port Authority and as part of their application process they are seeking a letter of support from the City towards their quest for the funding.

Northern Health and the PRPA teamed up in 2023 towards the project, something we took note of back in May, the work to date making for some significant changes to the Manor for those who live there.

Tonight's request for Council ( see pages 10-15 of the Agenda) also provides a glimpse towards some of that work that is in place.
