Don't look for any Federal Carbon Tax cash in your bank account today British Columbia

Today's a big day for many Canadians, as the Federal Government rolls out the first payment for 2024 in their Carbon Pricing Rebate program ,

For many residents that means a direct deposit or cheque in the mail box as part off the Climate Action Incentive payment program, however, its a program that is only in place for provinces where the Federal Carbon Tax is applied. 

Residents of those provinces are in line for rebates ranging from $184 to $386

The list of those provinces is as follows, wth the compensation that for a family of four:


Now, before you write to Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach, or put in a call to Service Canada to ask what's up and where the money ...  

Keep in mind that British Columbians do not participate in the Federal carbon pollution pricing system (nor do Quebecers or residents of the Northwest Territories, Nunavut or the Yukon).
