Council set to move forward on proposal for Drake Crescent

A step forward towards development of the Drake Crescent
Townhomes could be made tonight at City Council

A night with few items for consideration on the Agenda will still offer City Council a chance to move forward on some long sought new housing for the community.

The Council agenda tonight offers up the chance for Council to approve the Development Variance Permit for the Drake Crescent Developments.

Where the Drake Crescent Townhomes will go and what they'll look like
is part of the Information package for council tonight

The proposed housing development was re-introduced to Council at their last session for 2023, tonight's session providing the opportunity to move the plans forward.

As it's listed on the Agenda, tonight also should offer a chance for the public to speak to the proposal if they so desire, that would come up at the very beginning of tonight's Council session.

The Full report for Council for tonight can be reviewed on pages 27-39 of the Agenda package.
