| It's a 50th Birthday Bash in Smithers next week for MLA Nathan Cullen |
Nathan Cullen is turning the big 50 this month and the milestone for the Stikine MLA is making for a bit of a celebration event, with a side of fundraising to go with it, for the Stikine NDP riding association and BC NDP.
The invitations popped up on social media on Wednesday, the invite offering up a range of options towards participation in the celebration.

The Birthday bash is set for July 14th from 7PM to 9:30 PM at the Smithers Art Gallery.
Mr. Cullen making note of the upcoming flip of the calendar through a social media observation this week as well.
The birthday event may even offer up some hints as to whether the Stikine MLA has any interest in the top job in Victoria and if Mr. Cullen has any plans to put forward his name for the NDP leadership convention of the fall.
An event which will see the successful candidate instantly become Premier of British Columbia.
