BC CDC Data for the week of June 26-July 2

The numbers remain low across Northwest British Columbia, but COVID still remains a part of the health care discussion  across the region and the province of British Columbia.

This week's report from the BC CDC for the period of June 26-July 2 continues to show low reports of COVID from the reporting agency. But there are some increases to make note of.

Among those communities that returned or remained at zero cases recorded over the last seven days were Prince Rupert, Upper Skeena, Nisga'a,  Central Coast, Smithers and Nechako which all recorded no cases of COVID for the survey period.

The highest numbers listed in Northern British Columbia's continue to come from its largest community, with Prince George recording a case count of 19 in the period which is a an increase of 5 in case reports from last week.
