Lax Kw'alaams to host two sessions for Amlahaw ‘ Peoples Voices’ Community Engagement

The Lax Kw'alaams Community Hall in Prince Rupert 
is one of two venues for upcoming workshops this month

Members of the Lax Kw'alaams Community will have an opportunity to have a voice in reconciliation efforts this month, with the Lax Kw'alaams Band Council hosting two Workshops at the end of July.

July 23 and 24 are the dates for the Amlahaw ‘ Peoples Voices’ Community Engagement Workshops, session that will incorporate education and engagement about the Constitutional development work in Lax Kw'alaams. 

The Lax Kw'alaams event takes place on July 23 from 1 to 4 PM at the Elders Lodge, while the Prince Rupert session is set for the 24th at the Community Hall at 824 Third Avenue West again from 1 to 4 PM.

The events will include draws for a 100 dollar gift card at both sessions.
