Lax Kw'alaams Survey seeks out feedback from community members on potential waterfront development

Waterfront development for Lax Kw'alaams is the focus
of survey currently available for participation of
community members.

The Lax Kw'alaams Band Council is looking for some thoughts from community members towards what the northern waterfront area could look like, with the Band Council hosting an online survey at the moment for participation of members.

The short survey, officials say will just three minutes or so to fill out, has eight questions most of them information gathering for residents.

The Two key questions on the future for the waterfront come towards the end of the survey, with a range of potential waterfront options listed as well as a question that asks if they were available would that increase visits to the community.

The Full survey can be accessed here.

Participants can, if they wish. be entered in a draw to win one of three 100 dollar Walmart Gift Certificates.

There's no set deadline noted in the information sharing of the survey, but sooner would be better than later one imagines.

A good sample of what Lax Kw'alaams Members have suggested as side comments can be found in the discussion portion of the Facebook post that introduces the survey.
