The debates of Question Period were a bit more testy than usual as MLA's wrapped up their final week of Legislature work before a two week Spring Break.
The Premier and Opposition Leader taking to some spirited debate on a range of topics , while Opposition members challenged the Ministers on a range of themes from public safety to health, among the latter themes on addictive drugs and COVID measures still in place.
The Province had a lead role in recognizing International Women's Day for 2023, highlighting some of their recent work and legislation towards equity.
For the Northwest MLA's the schedule was a light one, with only a few appearances in the listings of the debates and discussions.
As for more on the recent week of work from the House, the four days unfolded as follows:

On the week, Ms Rice was mentioned once in the record for the week in the Legislature from March 6-10..
Her work in the Legislature Chamber on the week taking place on Wednesday afternoon, which saw her deliver a petition from her constituents, as well as to speak towards their signatures on the issue of Port Tax Caps and the call to have the controversial financial benefit removed.
Outside of the Chamber, the MLA made use of her Social Media stream to pay tribute to the Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Department and the members that attended the Provincial Memorial March on Monday.
Ms. Rice's week ended with some planning for a visit from the Premier who will be in Prince Rupert next Thursday for a mix of official business, as well as some fundraising for the local constituency office.
The North Coast MLA is also a member of the Following committees:
Ms. Rice serves as the Government's Parliamentary Secretary for Rural health.
The North Coast MLA also addressed a range of themes and relayed a number of government announcements through her Social Media Stream.

For our readers from the Terrace-Kitimat region, Skeena MLA Ellis Ross was mentioned twice in the record for the week in the Legislature from March 6-9.
It was an unusually light week for the Skeena MLA in the Chamber, that after a few weeks where her carried a significant amount of discussion the Legislature.
This week he provided for a Monday afternoon introductions of a contingent of firefighters from Kitimat that came at the 1:33PM part of ht Legislature day
He then followed up with a more detailed tribute to the work of the Kitimat Fire Rescue team and all firefighters in the province
One forum outside of the Legislature where the MLA had significant comment this week was through his social media feed where he relayed previous concerns from the Chamber over the delays facing a number of First Nation's related entry projects.
Mr. Ross serves as the Liberal critic on LNG and Energy

For our readers from the Bulkley Valley area, Stikine MLA Nathan Cullen was mentioned once in the record for the week in the Legislature from March 6-9.
That came as he provided introductions to members in the gallery from the Pacific Salmon Foundation and the First Nations Fisheries Council of BC that came at 2:02 PM
The Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship also had some significant news outside of the Chamber on a joint initiative between the Province and First Nations on watershed stewardship.
Mr. Cullen also participated in Committee of Supply discussions related to his Ministry, that session took place on Tuesday afternoon
The Stikine MLA is not currently assigned to any Parliamentary Committees.
Mr. Cullen serves as the Government's Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship.
