The March 16th decision notes of the work of dispute resolution facilitator which was called in to address concerns of the Lax Kw'alaams Band, though no details on what those discussion resulted in was disclosed as part of Thursday's announcement.

With the approval from the provincial agency, Nisga'a Lisims Government President Eva Clayton issued her own statement hailing the decision and noting how it followed shortly after approval of the Hsiala LNG initiative.
The Nisga'a leader's notes for the membership also calling for an upgraded electrical grid to help move the pace of the project forward and improve the reliability of electricity for the Nisga'a Nation.

The Haisla led Cedar LNG project was issued an environmental certificate on March 14th.
Skeena MLA Ellis Ross, who has been among the strongest advocates of LNG project development tin the Northwest and the BC Liberal Party critic on the issue, has raised the lack of movement by the NDP government on the twin proposals in recent months in the Legislature.
He offered up a short comment today on the success of the two Indigenous led projects.
