The City of Prince Rupert has moved into it's second round of engagement towards its Master Transportation Plan, announcing yesterday through Social media of an opportunity for the public to comment on the Connect Rupert strategy.
The new opportunity to provided feedback comes following a hastily called Committee of the Whole Session last Thursday, which had the city's consultants on their strategy Urban Systems deliver an update.
The session which was not streamed live, is also not available on the City's Video archive, so the public is a bit out of the loop compared to the council members on the findings of last week from the consultants.
Still the consultation process for the public launched yesterday and will continue until March 5th and to help increase participation the city is offering a chance to win one of three tote bags for your time.

The city suggests it only takes ten to fifteen minutes to fill out and you can access it here.
The focus to the initiative is on what matters most to residents in a range of areas.
Among them: to identify the three areas that the City. has attached its priorities towards, that includes working with local First Nations partners as well as BC Transit to improve public options towards Transportation.
Areas of Active Transportation, such as walking, cycling and street design to name a few are among the strategies for review.
Public Transportation makes for additional study as does improving driving conditions, the latter one which may be a topical one currently considering the state of some of the city's streets.
Priority project make for another element, asking for your opinion on the pace of addressing them.
