Wednesday was a day which featured pink as the go to fashion choice, that as British Columbia's schools and all those in support of anti-bullying delivered the annual message that comes with February 22nd.
From the elementary schools both public and Independent School Annunciation, to the city's Middle and two High schools and the Prince Rupert Campus of Coast Mountain College the day was one to work towards eliminating bullying and provide for a positive message.
Also observing today's event was North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice, Premier David Eby provided for some commentary on the day as well, with the province releasing its statement on Pink Shirt Day 2023
Noting how this year marked the 16th anniversary of the event.
