British Columbia Premier John Horgan provided some additional notes on his health status today, following up on Friday's procedure to remove a growth in his throat, which has since led to the need for further medical follow up.
Mr. Horgan outlined his path ahead with a message on his Social Media stream today, confirming that after pathology that the growth was indeed cancerous.
With radiation treatment ahead for the Premier in the weeks to come.

The Premier further outlined his plans to continue to participate in the work of the office through virtual communications with staff, cabinet and other officials.
It is not the first time that Mr. Horgan has faced a health challenge, having successfully conquered bladder cancer in 2008, he showcased much the same resolve today in his short statement for the public.
Since releasing the details of his health report, the Premier's Facebook page has continued to see a flow of best wishes his way as British Columbians and Canadians wish him well on his recovery period.
