With supply chains the thing of discussion today in the wake of storm damage in southern British Columbia, the Prince Rupert Port Authority has issued a statement that states its readiness to support disrupted supply chains.
The information release, relayed through the Port's social media sources and website, notes of the fully operational status of the facilities in Prince Rupert and it is ready to activate its full capacity to address the current situation in the province.

Today's statement did not indicate if there has been any increase in routing through the Prince Rupert Gateway since the southern ports of Vancouver were isolated from their transportation corridor.
