The Highliner is the new base of operations for former Prince Rupert Mayor Lee Brain |
Set up in offices in the Highliner Inn in downtown Prince Rupert, the two term municipal politician use his forum to trace some of his recent history since leaving the mayor's chair following the fall election of 2022.
Noting that after a short period as a Vice-President with CityWest he left the City of Prince Rupert owned communication company in March.
But he's still not far from the Third West CityWest offices, with Mr. Brain observing that he has taken on a role with them as a Community Engagement Specialist.
Upon his departure from CityWest, the former top elected official in the city opened up Impact Consulting Practice, where he offers the following services:
1 on 1 personal, business or political coaching.Facilitated community engagement processes for non-profits, businesses & government.
Group or team development workshops for nonprofits, businesses or boards.
Facilitated multi-stakeholder events for complex decision making.
His plans ahead include a Fall event in Prince George in October, as well as a workshop in Prince Rupert he is also looking towards opportunities to offer 1 on 1 coaching starting in September.
And while the former Mayor may have stepped aside from politics (for now perhaps) he also has plans to provide election coaching during election periods primarily focused on municipal government themes.
You can examine the full scope of his plans for the future from his Social media post here.
A look back at his time in political office can be found from our archive pages pre 2023, while notes on the regions Commercial Sector can be explored here.
