Towards those travels the MP has already hit the road with stops in Oona River and Kitkatla on the North Coast.
Mr. Bacharach noting of the importance of the in person contact.
“It's important to hear directly from constituents in more remote communities so I can carry their voices to the capital once Parliament resumes. Technology has certainly given us more options for staying in touch throughout the year, but there's no substitute for visiting in person."The Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP is using the tour as a chance to discuss the idea of a new rural agenda for Canada -- one that recognizes the role more remote communities play in the fabric of our country and focuses on delivering high-quality infrastructure and services.
“Rural communities matter, but too often we get left behind by a federal agenda focused on big cities. From transportation to housing, we need to see federal investments that allow rural communities to thrive. I'm looking forward to continuing this important conversation with folks across the Northwest.”
Next week, Bachrach will be hosting free community barbecues for a number of communities in the Eastern Bulkley Valley and Lakes District area of the constituency.
The MP was in Prince Rupert at the start of the week , attending a session of the BC Ferry Authority.
Mr. Bachrach has not as of yet, outlined when his tour of Skeena-Bulkley Valley will bring him back to the region for his next constituency session.
