(from the PRPA website)

Plans continue to evolve towards development by the Metlakatla Development Corporation of a Logistics terminal on South Kaien Island, with the Metlakatla First Nation setting up a meeting for its membership for this Friday, February 11th from 10AM to Noon to go over the latest notes on the proposed development.

As part of their notice of the virtual meeting, the MFN notes of their continued due diligence on a loan from the First Nations Finance Authority for the purpose of developing the logistics park. The loan as they explain it would be for up to 30 years, though no amount for the loan is listed at this point in their notes for the membership.

The purpose of the loan would be to facilitate the preparation of the site for flat serviced lots.
