As we outlined last Friday morning, the roll out of the 2022 Utility Taxes came last week, the annual request for payment making for the first of two tax bills for the year, this instalment arriving in the mail across the city.
The jump in the Utilities tab has caught the attention of a few residents and perhaps to head off a flurry of phone calls and emails, the City of Prince Rupert took to their Social Media feed on Friday afternoon.
The missive from City staff one which tackled a couple of topics: one related to automatic payments and the other the introduction of Recycling to the community, which has resulted in a significant jump this yer for the Solid Waste Component of the Utilities Billing.
While the City wraps up their information sharing with some message making on the winning work towards their goals for our environmental footprint, those checking out the Social Media message have been making note of some other areas of interest for them.
You can review the feedback so far and add your own if you desire through the City of Prince Rupert Facebook page.
More notes on Civic taxation can be explored here, while the theme of the city's Recycling launch can be reviewed from our archive page.
