The response to the NDP government budget and the implementation of new travel restrictions across the province dominated much of the discussion this week at the BC Legislature.
The last five days at the Legislature also featured a few other themes of note, included on the list the commemoration of the life of former BC Justice Thomas Berger, who passed away mid week.
Premier Horgan was among those to speak to his passing with a Thursday afternoon statement in the Legislature.
As word circulated that Mr. Berger had passed away, the tributes came in from across the nation, the province and from the Nisga'a Nation in particular, where leaders noted of their close association with him.
We also made note of a call for feedback from the Legislature as they reiview the program towards annual allowances for political parties
Both North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice and Skeena MLA Ellis Ross took advantage of speaking spots during the course of the seven sessions.

For our readers from the Terrace-Kitimat region, Skeena MLA Ellis Ross was mentioned three times in the record for the week in the Legislature from April 26-29
The Skeena MLA was in Victoria for the week and took full advantage of his time in the Legislature to address a number of themes, Mr. Ross started his week off by hailing the work of a group in the Vancouver area looking to clean up False Creek
Mr. Ross also sought clarification on the NDP government's roll out of travel restrictions this month.
A wide range of topics served as his focus for his place in the roster of BC Liberals speaking to the Government budget and financial plans ahead.
With the Skeena MLA also putting some focus on the LNG scene in the Northwest, as well as to share his view on how the NDP is handling the accusations of racism in Health Care and how it has impacted on those working the front lines in the Terrace and Kitimat region.
The Skeena MLA is not currently assigned to any Parliamentary committees
Mr. Ross is currently the BC Liberal's Opposition Critic for Environment and Climate Change Strategy.
The Skeena MLA is also contesting for the leadership of the BC Liberal Party
