Second Town Hall on Prince Rupert and area housing concerns set for May 15th

North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice will be the guest for the second of three community town halls on the current housing situation in Prince Rupert, with the Prince Rupert Labour Council led session set for this Saturday.

The Zoom Town Halls were launched last month, the first instalment of the Housing trilogy exploring some of the background to the current housing challenges in the community.

This month's session puts the focus on homelessness and securing housing for all in the community.

The lack of entry level priced family housing, general lack of rental housing and growing sense of housing insecurity will be some of the themes to be explored as part of the Saturday session which will take place from 2 to 4 PM.

To participate in the Saturday Zoom Town Hall contact Tom Kertes at the Prince Rupert Labour Council who will provide those with an interest in the topic with the links and passwords to participate in the virtual session
